Do I need to be a current McCall Client?
No. Our Primary Care practice is open to everyone. You do not need to be a current McCall client to become a primary care patient.
Whether you’re new to McCall, currently receiving services through another McCall program, or have received care from us in the past, you’re welcome to establish care with our Primary Care team.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept Husky, most private insurance plans, and no one will be denied access to services because they can’t afford care.
McCall also offers a Sliding Fee Scale to individuals and families who qualify. Depending on your income and family size, the Sliding Fee Scale can significantly reduce the cost of your care.

Do you offer same-day sick visits?
Yes. If you’re feeling sick, call us at 203.754.0322, and we’ll do our best to schedule you as soon as possible.
Walk-ins are also welcome, though wait times may vary depending on appointment availability.
Do you see children?
Yes. We welcome patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.
Some patients, particularly newborns, older adults, or those with specialized medical needs, may benefit from care provided by a trusted specialist. If needed, your primary care provider will coordinate a referral to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
What does “Whole-Person” care mean?
Whole-person care means treating more than just your symptoms. We take the time to understand your physical health, mental well-being, lifestyle, and personal goals so we can provide care that supports your overall health.
When needed, we can seamlessly connect you to additional McCall services and specialists.
Because our Primary Care clinic is located within McCall’s Whole Health Center, you have convenient access to mental health care, substance use treatment, child and family therapy, and our on-site Genoa pharmacy—all in one location.
Location, Transportation and Parking
We are located at 969 West Main Street, Unit 2D, Waterbury, CT on the corner of Highland Avenue, West Main Street, and Wilson Street.
Our Primary Care clinic is located on the second floor of McCall’s Whole Health Center, giving you convenient access to mental health care, substance use treatment, child and family therapy, and our on-site Genoa pharmacy—all under one roof.
Please enter through our main entrance on Wilson Street.
Parking:
- Main Lot (Wilson Street): Turn off of West Main Street onto Wilson Street to park in our main lot.
- Lower Lot (West Main Street): Our lower lot is accessible from West Main Street and located below Wilson Street.
- Upper Lot (Highland Ave): Turn off West Main Street onto Highland Ave to park in our upper lot. This lot provides access to our third floor entrance, with access to an elevator to the second floor. This lot is frequently full.
CT Transit:
- The 441, 442, and 444 line stops at and across the street from our facility. Please walk up Wilson Street to access our main entrance.
- The 441 also stops on Highland Avenue across the street from our upper lot and third floor entrance.
Rideshare: If you’re using a rideshare or taxi service, please us our 969 West Main Street Address, and set your drop-off location to our main entrance on Wilson Street.
