From Tuesday, April 29, until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, you can help McCall fund a new passenger van that supports women in recovery.
This year, your support of McCall’s Give Local campaign will help us purchase a passenger van for McCall’s Hanson House, our residential treatment program for women in active recovery. Located in Torrington, Hanson House provides trauma-informed, gender-responsive care to help women heal, reconnect with family, and build a strong foundation for lifelong recovery.
Our Board of Directors will match up to $5,000 if we reach our goal of 75 donors,
with sponsor matches to unlock along the way!

25 Donors = $1,000 gift from our Mileage Maker Sponsors!
50 Donors = $1,500 gift from Road to Recovery Sponsors
75 Donors = $5,000 gift from our Board of Directors!
Thank you to our generous sponsors!

Right now, transportation is one of the biggest hurdles our residents face. Getting to essential appointments—psychiatric care, medical visits, job interviews, and community activities—is difficult due to limited bus service and the high cost and reliability of other transportation options

A new passenger van will provide:
🛞 Safe, staff-supported rides to therapy, medical care, and employment opportunities
🛞 A way to rebuild independence and confidently navigate the world outside of treatment
🛞 A vital sense of dignity—allowing women in recovery to engage in their communities with pride

Every gift brings us closer to our goal.
When 75 donors participate in McCall’s 2025 Give Local drive, our Board of Directors will contribute a generous match to push us even further toward funding the Hanson House passenger van.
More good news – Bonus funds from the Connecticut Community Foundation and Give Local sponsors will be added to the total tally based on the number of donors who join us.
Help us go the extra mile!
