(TORRINGTON, CT) – September 17, 2023 – McCall Behavioral Health Network has been awarded a Top Workplace 2023 honor by The Hearst Connecticut Top Workplaces. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

The Top Workplaces program has a 16-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards.

McCall is proud to be part of the statewide Recovery Friendly Workplace initiative. Recovery Friendly Workplaces promote a “recovery-sensitive” attitude that emphasizes help, hope, and the economic potential of healthy employees. Opioid-related deaths continue to top 1,500 per year. According to the National Safety Council, nearly 75% of Americans with a substance use disorder are in the workplace, reinforcing the need for employers to focus attention on the issue.
